Memberships

Is there someone there to help if I have questions?

Yes. Our Studio Managers are in house full time, Monday–Friday, 9 am–6 pm. 

 

Are there plans for more Studio locations?

Yes! More locations are on their way. Check back soon to see where we’re going next.

 

Can Non-Members book time in the Studios?

Yes Non-Members need to purchase a Work Day Pass in order to use the space for meetings.

 

What’s the main difference between Membership Tiers?

Credits are the main difference. You get more & more credits for each membership level. You also unlock exclusive events with different membership tiers — such as Industry Office Hours (Level Up) & creative sessions and class discounts.

 

Am I charged automatically for my Membership?

Yes, all Members are charged monthly and automatically with the card they put on file from when they first signed up.


Studio Rental

What days/hours can I rent the studio?

A Fly on The Wall is available for rent seven days week. The standard rental rate applies to rentals Monday-Friday from 9am – 6pm. Weekend and evening rentals are available as well for an additional fee.

 

What is required to book the studio?

All studio bookings require to complete booking on the booking portal, a Certificate of Insurance and payment details completed.

 

What is the minimum amount of time for a studio rental?

There is a four-hour minimum for any studio rental. We also offer full-day and weekend/evening rental options as well. If you have questions, please visit the Book Studio page with your inquiry.

 

How do I make a reservation?

Simply use the Book Studio button on our web site to submit your reservation request. Once your request is submitted, A Fly on the Wall will get back to you via email with a link to submit payment for your rental fee to secure your reservation and studio time.

 

How do I confirm my reservation?

Studio time is confirmed for rental ONLY after A Fly on the Wall receives completed booking form and payment details, and a confirmation email is sent to the renter confirming that we have booked your reservation. All reservations are on a first-come first-served basis.

 

Can I arrive before my scheduled time to setup lights and backdrops?

Sorry, no. Your reservation time includes the time you will need setting up the lights yourself, your shoot session, the breakdown of the set, and cleaning. You must complete all of these yourself. Please factor all of this into your reservation time. The studio may be occupied before your reservation, or it may be reserved right after your scheduled shoot, so please be courteous of others regarding time, and budget accordingly.

 

Is there anything I need to do after the shoot?

Please ensure the studio is clean and items are put back in their place as they were when you arrived. Studio must be returned to its original condition to avoid a $75 cleaning fee.

 

Do you have parking available?

There is free parking available at and around the studio building.


Shooting at the Studio

What is the maximum number of people I can have at the shoot?

Rental rates are based on a maximum of six (6-8) people on the premises at one time. If you need to accommodate a larger group, please contact use with your direct inquiry.

 

I’m new and need help setting up lights and possibly instruction, can someone help?

Yes. There is a $100.00 setup charge for basic lighting setup. If you need additional instruction while shooting, please contact us for the hourly rates if hands-on instruction is requested.

 

Can I bring my own lighting equipment, backdrops, or other larger equipment?

Yes, absolutely! You are allowed to bring in your own equipment, but please take proper precautions to ensure the studio is not damaged.

 

Does the studio provide backdrops or cyclorama wall?

Yes. Our studio rental includes 4-seamless paper colored backdrops, and our 20 x 10 ft. Cyclorama Wall. 


Studio Amenities

Does the studio have wifi?

Yes! The studio has free WiFi that is fast and reliable and is included with your rental. For a full list of all studio amenities please visit the studio amenities page.

 

Do you have a clothing rack?

Yes, there is a clothing rack available with hangers to hang clothing during your shoot.

 

Do you have a makeup station that can be used?

Yes, there is a separate dressing room with full-length light mirrored (Horizontal) make-up station plus a vertical full-length mirror as well.

 

Is there a restroom?

Yes, there is a private single-person unisex restroom.

 

Is there a sound system available in the studio?

Yes, there is a SONOS Bluetooth sound system. NOTE: Renters and guests must keep volume to a respectful level during business hours.
